Engagement sessions are one of my VERY favorite thing to shoot! There’s nothing better than 2 flirty babes having fun and letting loose for photos. I try to crack jokes in the process ;) These two are getting married in December and I CAN’T FREAKING WAIT. They are so sweet and obviously the cutest thangss alive. Take a look at their Downtown Tulsa rooftop engagement session and drool like I did! OH, and yes there had to be donuts at their session because I wanted a bite and because why not?! Happy Thursday babes! It’s almost the weekend…. stay strong! XO kelsey
What time is it? BLOGGING TIME! (you better have sang that to the high school musical melody…) I know, I know. I’m like the worst human ever at b l o g g i n g . BUT, today is a special one. Because IT IS THE PEREZ WEDDING! These 2 OOZE love and everything in between. I didn’t just love these two as my clients, I loved them as my friends. Always keeping me laughing and trusting my vision! And they aren’t hard to look at ;) These 2 met at a discipleship program in Florida, and ran into one another at a gym. How sweet right?! She knew she was going to marry him when she saw him. Cue the ugly Kim Kardashian cry face. Darby described her wedding day as charming, sentimental and joyful. We shot their engagement session at a Christmas tree farm in Owasso, Oklahoma in November and it made me so stinking excited for their wedding this year! I have been friends with Darby since about 7th grade, so it was SO sweet to get to capture her sweet day! I genuinely couldn’t imagine her with anyone better than Christian. He’s kinda the best (shout out to Christian). Obviously Darby was the most beautiful bride! She went for a simple timeless look for her wedding day, and it couldn’t have fit her personality better! Can we talk about her wedding dress?! WOWWWW. OKAY, now on to the fun stuff! This wedding was on a warm Oklahoma June day, and flowed so nicely! They had the best vendors and the sweetest friends surrounding them on their day. I’ll also drop the vendor list below, because… BOOK THEM! Overall, this Oklahoma wedding day was a dream & i’m so blessed they chose me to capture this day! It was one full of happy tears, belly laughs and lots and lots of dancing. Find your person, and love them hard. If you read this to the bottom, you’re the bees knees and I love you. Thanks for dropping by! XO

Hi friends! Still catching up on some MUCH NEEDED blogging to share the weddings and sessions you guys haven’t gotten to see yet! Don’t worry, I’m still catching up ;)
Today I’ll be blogging this beautiful and classy Arkansas wedding I shot back in April (yes you read that right, APRIL.) This wedding was sweet and simple, and was a joy to shoot! The Skaggs tied the knot and are expecting a child together! This season of life is so sweet. Erin wanted to a first look with her father, her bridesmaids AND her now hubby Trey. If you didn’t know before, I’m a huge fan of first looks! They help when creating a timeline and give you extra moments alone with your hubby without things being rushed. She has a simple color pallet that also popped! Her dress was a DREAM, and can we talk about all the amazing braids?! Overall, I’m so excited to share this Arkansas wedding with you that I photographed, and hopefully will be back in the area soon! I LOVE traveling for weddings, so don’t be afraid to reach out! Let me know if you have any questions about vendors or booking me for your wedding. XO!

Hey Friends! I know I am the absolute worst at blogging because life has been nothing short of CRAZY in 2019! But i’m here to tell you i’m now gonna be catching up on blogs for the next 6 months, so BE READY FOR THIS CRAZY RIDE!
This February styled shoot was actually the shoot of my wedding photographer dreams. From the dreamy color pallet, to the amazing Oklahoma based vendors and beautiful models! I am forever grateful for this job and all the new people it lets me meet! We based the shoot off of subtle mauve tones with hints of pink and orange. I mean look at that calligraphy table scroll?! The wedding dress actually can be turned into 2 separate dresses as well! How stinking cool?! The shoot took place at The Reserve at Emerald Falls in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. Oklahoma brides: make sure this venue is on your list to check out! The venue is so roomy and has so many different opportunities to style it for your dream wedding. Wild Honey Wed, based out of Stillwater, Oklahoma helped me put the shoot together, and let me tell you. They made it a breeze! Brides: I always suggest hiring a wedding planner/coordinator to help your day run smoothly! I don’t know what I would’ve done without them! Melanie & Taylor were a JOY to work with. When looking for a model for the shoot, I knew Melanie would be the perfect fit. She was the sweetest, and made my job so easy! I’m lucky to now be able to call her a friend. Go ahead and take a look at this shoot, and feel free to contact any of the awesome Oklahoma wedding vendors i’ll list below! I pinky promise they won’t let you down.

You know those couples that you meet and know they will last a life time? Their love story pulls at your heart strings and makes you believe you’ll find your person one day? This is them. Ethan & Kelsey SO evidently showed the lords love to me and everyone at their wedding! Their closest friends and family came to celebrate them. I could go on and on about how they are the best, but I’ll move on to their awesome wedding day! This January wedding was held at Greenleaf Barn in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma! The venue is an absolute dream, with rustic clean white walls, and twinkle lights outside. It kicked off my 2019 wedding season as an Oklahoma Wedding Photographer! Kelsey’s grandfather was the officiant and it was sweet seeing the connection they had, he was overjoyed to see his granddaughter say “I do”. Some words that would describe this wedding would be classic, relaxed and just plain LOVE. These two love each other so well! Each and every vendor was amazing! Andolinis Pizza truck was catered, and everyone lined up outside for pizza while the DJ started his music! The weather was perfect (a little chilly), for a January Oklahoma wedding! They were sent off with a sparkler exit and drove away in Ethan’s truck. This day was my favorite and was such a joy to start off this year’s Oklahoma wedding season.
