Classy Arkansas Wedding // Trey & Erin

Hi friends! Still catching up on some MUCH NEEDED blogging to share the weddings and sessions you guys haven’t gotten to see yet! Don’t worry, I’m still catching up ;)

Today I’ll be blogging this beautiful and classy Arkansas wedding I shot back in April (yes you read that right, APRIL.) This wedding was sweet and simple, and was a joy to shoot! The Skaggs tied the knot and are expecting a child together! This season of life is so sweet. Erin wanted to a first look with her father, her bridesmaids AND her now hubby Trey. If you didn’t know before, I’m a huge fan of first looks! They help when creating a timeline and give you extra moments alone with your hubby without things being rushed. She has a simple color pallet that also popped! Her dress was a DREAM, and can we talk about all the amazing braids?! Overall, I’m so excited to share this Arkansas wedding with you that I photographed, and hopefully will be back in the area soon! I LOVE traveling for weddings, so don’t be afraid to reach out! Let me know if you have any questions about vendors or booking me for your wedding. XO!

OKLAHOMA STYLED WEDDING SHOOT

Hey Friends! I know I am the absolute worst at blogging because life has been nothing short of CRAZY in 2019! But i’m here to tell you i’m now gonna be catching up on blogs for the next 6 months, so BE READY FOR THIS CRAZY RIDE!

This February styled shoot was actually the shoot of my wedding photographer dreams. From the dreamy color pallet, to the amazing Oklahoma based vendors and beautiful models! I am forever grateful for this job and all the new people it lets me meet! We based the shoot off of subtle mauve tones with hints of pink and orange. I mean look at that calligraphy table scroll?! The wedding dress actually can be turned into 2 separate dresses as well! How stinking cool?! The shoot took place at The Reserve at Emerald Falls in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. Oklahoma brides: make sure this venue is on your list to check out! The venue is so roomy and has so many different opportunities to style it for your dream wedding. Wild Honey Wed, based out of Stillwater, Oklahoma helped me put the shoot together, and let me tell you. They made it a breeze! Brides: I always suggest hiring a wedding planner/coordinator to help your day run smoothly! I don’t know what I would’ve done without them! Melanie & Taylor were a JOY to work with. When looking for a model for the shoot, I knew Melanie would be the perfect fit. She was the sweetest, and made my job so easy! I’m lucky to now be able to call her a friend. Go ahead and take a look at this shoot, and feel free to contact any of the awesome Oklahoma wedding vendors i’ll list below! I pinky promise they won’t let you down.

Intimate Winter Oklahoma Wedding // Ethan & Kelsey

You know those couples that you meet and know they will last a life time? Their love story pulls at your heart strings and makes you believe you’ll find your person one day? This is them. Ethan & Kelsey SO evidently showed the lords love to me and everyone at their wedding! Their closest friends and family came to celebrate them. I could go on and on about how they are the best, but I’ll move on to their awesome wedding day! This January wedding was held at Greenleaf Barn in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma! The venue is an absolute dream, with rustic clean white walls, and twinkle lights outside. It kicked off my 2019 wedding season as an Oklahoma Wedding Photographer! Kelsey’s grandfather was the officiant and it was sweet seeing the connection they had, he was overjoyed to see his granddaughter say “I do”. Some words that would describe this wedding would be classic, relaxed and just plain LOVE. These two love each other so well! Each and every vendor was amazing! Andolinis Pizza truck was catered, and everyone lined up outside for pizza while the DJ started his music! The weather was perfect (a little chilly), for a January Oklahoma wedding! They were sent off with a sparkler exit and drove away in Ethan’s truck. This day was my favorite and was such a joy to start off this year’s Oklahoma wedding season.

Rustic Chic Oklahoma Wedding // Abby & Cooper

Let me start off by saying this wedding was an absolute DREAM. A couple months back I blogged about their engagement and now I get to blog about their sweetest wedding day! There are certain weddings I just know will be one of my favorites for the rest of my career, this was one of those weddings! My dream one day is to travel to weddings and elopements across the world, but Oklahoma weddings will always be near and dear to my heart. October weddings are some of my very favorite to capture! The weather was great also (such a plus). Their style was rustic with a bit of chic also. Everything flowed together so well and was just F U N. This day was full of tons of laughs, tears and ice cream! The bridal party was so sweet to Abby the entire day, and it was so neat witnessing all of their friendships on such a special day! These two got married at the most beautiful new wedding venue in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma at The Reserve at Emerald Falls! The flowers were done by her now mother-in-law Mindy and they were BEAUTIFUL! I love all the pops of red! The had a intimate first look alone, and it put all of Abby’s nerves to rest! (Have I ever mentioned first looks are my FAVORITE!) Such a sweet moment between your soon to be groom (or bride). If you’re getting married and thinking about doing a first look, i’d definitely suggest it! The night ended with a sparkler send off and leaving in a vintage car. Below are some of my most favorite images from the night! Congrats Abby & Cooper! So much love for my bride and grooms! XOXO

Fall Inspired Styled Shoot

Is anyone else as ready for fall as I am?! Basic girl here… I’m already lighting all the fall candles! Lol. I got the AWESOME opportunity to work with some of my awesome friends and throw together a bridal/small wedding styled shoot and it did not disappoint. We did it at Tried & True located in Tulsa, Oklahoma and used some of their awesome rentals! Big shout out to local Tulsa vendors! My sweet friend Lauren did the amazing florals, and our awesome model Alaska KILLED IT! I also found the amazing Annie May Write Calligraphy, she is so amazing at what she does! Lauren did a bridal bouquet and arrangement, and the colors are seriously speaking my love language. The dress is from Forever 21 (crazy right?!) and fit our bohemian theme perfectly! I am so stinking excited to share these photos with you that have inspired me so much for the 2019 wedding season. Feel free to share with other creatives!
